- How large will pups end up being and how will they end up looking.? Neither I cannot predict for sure; you will get an idea from the parents size. Breed standard: 35-50# Females 45-60# Males. Husky's markings can and do change, develop, coats may become lighter or darker ect. IT is best on going what they look like now and be able to be satisfied overall with the pup no matter cosmetically how they end up looking. So many buy this breed because of their beauty and do not investigate the breed. This is a mistake and ultimatley will not end up good for the pup nor the family if it is not done.
- Can parents be viewed? No, not usually. Right now I have my dogs at two different locations (explained on pickup page). I also must protect my dogs from any commuicable diseases. (Parvo can be tracked on shows and unknown. I take no chances. Other breeders do this as well. Each adult has their own page that goes over in details about them. Please view the "Adults page". It also upsets the mother if pups are still with her which I usually do because when I am down to one pup, the puppy gets lonley and I do not want her/him by self. Pups are vully weaned (mom's start by nature) and eating on their own solid food before being released with at least 1st set of shots and deworming.
- What is or will be the temperament or personality of pups? All my adults have wonderful dispositions and temperments. They however are very different in personality. I have included by each adult picture a little info so buyers would get an idea. Puppies are very difficult to determine how they will end up being because they are just babies and are developing. I can only advise on how they are in the litter rank-quiet/shy, outgoing, or in between after 5 weeks or so. Keep in mind, they can change at anytime especially when they are taken from the pack into a new enviroment or after a pup or pups have left, there is new order which causes change. Enviroment and how they are raised is a big determining factor on how they will ultimatley turn out! Buyers can check back anytime for updates.
- Will I meet or deliver? I will meet in Smithville; I will not deliver.
- Do Husky's get along with small animals?: No, generally not, they especially do not with cats, birds, ferrets, hamsters etc. If you are a cat owner and your cat is part of the family, I strongly do not recommend a husky. This is a known characteristic found in the breed. Howedever, most usually all is well if raised bringing in husky as a pup. If you are unfamiliar or want more information, please investigate the breed a little more more throughly. The internet has a wealth of information.
6. What pup would be best for you and your family? I cannot predict this. To many factors play into it and even with information I am giving of how the family is and their activites will not help me to determine. It's impossible for any breeder to do so and guarantee "pefect match". If they are doing so, then they are doing it just to make a sale without the potential buyer nor THE PUP intrests at heart. All i can do is advise what is on the site on how they are AT THIS TIME; I normally try to give a little info on personality; but please understand; IT CAN CHANGE, it depnds on how they are raised, time put into them ect; on how they ultimatley will end up being.
